Graduate Study Special Scholarship

This page explains the scholarship’s eligibility, recruitment and selection timing, grant amount, duration, and conditions for receiving the award.

Eligibility and selection

The scholarship is intended for fourth-year undergraduate students who meet the university’s internal recommendation criteria for admission to its master’s program. Recruitment takes place in April during the fourth undergraduate year. Recruitment and selection are completed during that year, when scholarship candidates are determined.

Grant amount and conditions

The grant is 200,000 yen and is available for the first year of the master’s program only. A selected candidate receives the grant only after passing the university’s internal recommendation entrance examination for the master’s program and enrolling in that program at the university in the following academic year.
