Moriya Scholarship Foundation: Eligibility, Award Amounts, and Recruitment Timing

For the 2025 academic year, this scholarship provides monthly awards and has specific recruitment timing and eligibility requirements for students at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus.

Recruitment and Monthly Award Amounts

Recruitment for the Moriya Scholarship Foundation takes place around early April. Undergraduate students receive ¥120,000 per month, while graduate students receive ¥150,000 per month.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants are undergraduate and graduate students at a university in Tokyo who reside in Tokyo. The academic requirement is a GPA of at least 3.0 under the university standard. The income criterion is ¥8.41 million or less for salary income, based on the withholding tax statement, or ¥3.55 million or less for other income, based on an income certificate.
