Second-Type Scholarship Academic Eligibility

The academic eligibility criteria differ by academic year, campus, and faculty. The relevant requirements are outlined below.

2025: Saitama Hatoyama Campus, School of Science and Technology

For the interest-bearing Second-Type Scholarship, applicants must be motivated to study and considered likely to complete their studies reliably.

2026: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Second Division

One academic criterion for the Second-Type Scholarship is that the applicant is recognized as having academic performance at or above the average level.
