Planning and Applying to Use Sports Facilities

This guide explains when to apply, how to obtain permission, and what to do when using sports facilities at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus.

When to apply

At the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, recognized student organizations may apply to use sports facilities from 14 days before the intended use date. Unrecognized student organizations, including laboratories, may apply from 7 days before the intended use date.

Plan and obtain permission

First, check which facilities and time periods are available and make a use plan. Then complete the prescribed procedures at the Student Welfare Office and obtain permission to use the sports facilities.

Using the facilities

Sports facilities may be used outside physical education class hours. However, classes and campus events have priority. When using the tennis courts, multipurpose courts, or gymnasium, present the approved use request at the guard station reception and borrow the key.
