Student Advisers: Support and Consultation Hours
Learn what student advisers can help with, when their weekly office hours are held, and how guidance sessions are announced.
What student advisers can help with
Student advisers are university faculty members who provide undergraduate students with guidance and advice during their enrollment. They can advise on study, career education and future pathways, employment, extracurricular activities, student life, scholarships, student procedures, graduate-school study, and other general student-life matters.
Weekly office hours and consultation access
Student advisers hold office hours every week in their faculty rooms or similar locations. Students may come freely for consultation during these hours. Each student adviser must hold one hour of office hours per week and be present at a location selected by the adviser. For the Faculty of Engineering Evening Division at Tokyo Senju Campus, the office hours and location must be announced in advance to students of the relevant faculty.
Guidance sessions around grade announcements
At the School of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025, interviews with student advisers and department guidance sessions may be held at or around the grade-announcement period. The dates are provided in posted notices.
