When a Student Adviser Cannot Resolve a Consultation

If a student adviser cannot address the matter raised in a consultation, the adviser must report its substance to the chair of the student's department or academic field.

Escalation to the Department or Academic Field Chair

If, after meeting with a student under the adviser's responsibility, a student adviser determines that the adviser cannot address the matter raised in the consultation, the adviser must report the substance of the matter to the chair of the student's department or academic field.
