Alumni Association Scholarship: Eligibility and Tuition Hardship

This page explains who may receive the Tokyo Denki University Alumni Association Scholarship and when it may support students facing financial difficulty with tuition and other university charges.

Who may be eligible

For 2025 students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, the Tokyo Denki University Alumni Association Scholarship is an interest-free university loan for students whose continued study is difficult because of a sudden change in their family’s financial circumstances. Eligible students are enrolled graduate students or undergraduate students.

Support when tuition payments are difficult

For 2025 students in the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus, the scholarship is a loan for an enrolled student member when the student’s or guarantor’s circumstances make it difficult to pay tuition and other university charges. For 2025 students in the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology at the same campus, the loan is available when circumstances affecting the student or guarantor make payment of tuition and other university fees difficult, and it may be provided only once during the period of enrollment. The same one-time limit applies to 2025 students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus.
