Student Emergency Scholarship: Eligibility and Award Limit

This page explains the character, academic, and financial circumstances required for the Student Emergency Scholarship, as well as its one-award limit.

Eligibility requirements

The Student Emergency Scholarship is intended for Tokyo Denki University students who have excellent character and good academic performance and who are having difficulty paying tuition or other educational expenses because of a sudden change in household finances. For the 2026 System Design and Engineering Faculty scope, the stated circumstances include a household financial change within the past year or a disaster. The scholarship is a grant established from designated donations to the university.

Limit of one award during enrollment

Under the 2025 Engineering Faculty scope, the Student Emergency Scholarship may be granted only once during a student's period of enrollment.
