Loss of Student Emergency Scholarship Eligibility

This page explains circumstances that may end eligibility for the Tokyo Denki University Student Emergency Scholarship and when repayment may be required.

Circumstances That May End Eligibility

A scholarship student may lose eligibility if found unsuitable as a scholarship student after receiving a disciplinary sanction under university regulations, including withdrawal or expulsion, suspension, or reprimand. Eligibility may also be lost if the student is found unsuitable because of poor academic performance or poor conduct, or because false statements were made in submitted documents or similar materials.

Possible Repayment of Scholarship Funds

If a scholarship student loses eligibility for one of the listed reasons, the University may require repayment of scholarship funds already granted.
