When Part-Time Jobs Are Referred
The university refers students to selected part-time jobs, but limits the referral periods and job types so that students can prioritize their studies and avoid accidents.
General limits on part-time job referrals
The university provides part-time job referrals to students who wish to work. For educational and accident-prevention reasons, it restricts both the periods when jobs are referred and the types of work available. Students must not allow part-time work to interfere with their studies.
Daytime and long-vacation referrals in 2025
For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, part-time jobs are referred only during daytime periods when regular classes are not being held and during the summer, winter, and spring vacations.
Referrals and exceptions in 2026
For the 2026 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the university does not refer students to part-time jobs while regular classes are in session. Referrals are made during the summer, winter, and spring vacations. Private tutoring and cram-school teaching are exceptions and may be referred at any time.
