Academic Guidance Interviews: Schedule and Eligibility

Academic guidance interviews are held in September and March, with additional interviews for students meeting specific academic or enrollment-related criteria.

Interview schedule

For all currently enrolled students, academic guidance interviews are conducted in September and March.

Students who may receive an interview

At the end of the academic year, students who repeat a year or postpone graduation are subject to an academic guidance interview. Students who earned zero credits in the most recent term, or whose GPA was below 1.0 for two consecutive terms, are also subject to an interview. During the academic term, interviews are conducted for students who have not registered for courses, students whose class attendance has not been confirmed for an extended period, and any other students whom the department determines need an interview. A department may also establish its own criteria for conducting academic guidance interviews.
