Loss of Scholarship Eligibility and Repayment

For students at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Future Science in academic year 2025, this page explains when scholarship eligibility may be revoked and when the full scholarship amount must be repaid.

When scholarship eligibility is lost

A scholarship student loses eligibility if any of the following applies and the university president determines that the student is unsuitable to remain a scholarship student: withdrawal or removal from the university, suspension, disciplinary action for violating university rules, poor academic performance, or misconduct.

When the scholarship must be repaid

If scholarship eligibility is lost for one of the reasons listed above, the head of the Student Support Center and the relevant graduate school committee chair or faculty dean discuss the case. If the university president determines that the student is unsuitable, the student must repay the full amount of the scholarship provided to the university without delay.
