学研賠 Coverage Period and Additional Premiums

This page explains how long 学研賠 insurance coverage lasts and when an additional one-year premium is collected after the standard study period.

Coverage period

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, 学研賠 insurance coverage lasts for the prescribed study period for students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, and the Faculty of System Design and Technology.

Additional premium when study is extended or coverage expires

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, or the Faculty of System Design and Technology who exceed the prescribed study period because of circumstances such as repeating a year are charged a one-year 学研賠 insurance premium when paying tuition. In the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, students whose insurance coverage has expired because of repeating a year or taking a leave of absence are also charged a one-year premium with their tuition. For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus who exceed the prescribed study period for reasons such as repeating a year are charged a one-year 学研賠 premium when paying tuition.
