Support Scholarship Eligibility and Qualifying Circumstances

This page explains the basic eligibility requirements and circumstances that may qualify a student for the support scholarship in 2025.

Basic eligibility requirements

The support scholarship is awarded from among students enrolled in Tokyo Denki University or its graduate school who have excellent character and good academic performance, and who meet at least one of the specified qualifying circumstances.

Qualifying circumstances

The listed qualifying circumstances include being recognized as motivated to achieve self-development, purchasing educational equipment or similar items for the purpose of self-development, and participating in a university-sponsored short-term overseas language training program. These circumstances are treated as qualifying grounds in addition to the character and academic requirements.
