Student Support Grant Scholarship: Eligibility and Loss of Eligibility

For the 2026 academic year, this page explains the conditions for selection as a Student Support Grant Scholarship student and the circumstance that can result in loss of eligibility.

Conditions for selection

Students may be selected for the Student Support Grant Scholarship if they meet any of the following conditions: they have financial support needs because of an accident, disaster, or similar event; they have outstanding academic performance; they are experiencing financial hardship and difficulty paying tuition; or the Student Support Center Director and the relevant graduate school committee chair or faculty dean discuss the case and recognize that support is necessary.

When eligibility is lost

A scholarship student loses eligibility if they violate university regulations, receive disciplinary action such as withdrawal from the university or removal from the enrollment register, suspension, or a reprimand, and the Student Support Center Director determines that they are unsuitable to remain a scholarship student.
