When a card tap counts as attendance

For classes in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus during the 2026 academic year, a tap on the attendance-management card reader is recorded as attendance when it is made from 10 minutes before the class period begins until before that period ends. For the illustrated N3 period, N2 ends at 12:10, the break continues until N3 begins at 13:10, and the attendance window begins at 13:00. N3 ends at 14:40, so 14:39:59 is the last time treated as attendance. A tap at or after 14:40 does not count.
