How Open-System Courses Count Toward the Semester Credit Limit
For eligible Electrical and Electronic Engineering students, courses taken through the humanities and social sciences open-course system are not included in the semester course-registration credit limit.
Credit-limit treatment
For the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, courses taken through the humanities and social sciences open-course system are treated as courses from another faculty and classified as free subjects. They are therefore not counted toward the semester course-registration credit limit.
