Cross-Campus Open Courses and Online Class Formats

For the 2026 academic year, students can take eligible Open Course System classes offered at the other campus. The class format depends on the campuses involved and the course’s syllabus or instructor’s instructions.

Taking courses at the other campus

Under the Open Course System, students may take courses across campuses. This information applies to students of the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year.

Class delivery format

For students at Tokyo Senju Campus who take an eligible course offered by the Faculty of Science and Technology at Hatoyama Campus, classes are, in principle, delivered online for every class session. For students at Hatoyama Campus who take an eligible course offered at Tokyo Senju Campus, classes are also, in principle, delivered online for every class session. For eligible Open Course System courses offered at either campus, the specific attendance format follows the course syllabus or the instructor’s instructions.
