Early Graduation Eligibility and Conditions

Faculty of Future Science: Tokyo Senju Campus

For the 2025 and 2026 academic years, early graduation may be available to exceptionally high-performing students who wish to continue to this university's graduate school. The student must wish to graduate at the end of the second semester of the third year or, except in the Department of Architecture, at the end of the first semester of the fourth year. This corresponds to graduation after three or three and a half years of enrollment.

For the 2025 academic year, the student must satisfy all required conditions, including the early-graduation conditions established by the student's department and listed in the applicable table. For the 2026 academic year, the department chair and dean must judge the student suitable for early graduation, and the student must satisfy the additional early-graduation conditions established by the department.

Third-year transfer students and students who transfer between faculties are not eligible for early graduation.

Faculty of Science and Technology: Saitama Hatoyama Campus, 2025

At the time the early-graduation decision is made, the student must not be on a leave of absence. The student's post-graduation path must also be settled as either admission to Tokyo Denki University's Graduate School of Science and Engineering or employment as a regular public employee. Early graduation is not permitted for students who entered the university by transfer into the third year.

Faculty of Science and Technology: Saitama Hatoyama Campus, 2026

For the 2026 academic year, the student must have been enrolled for at least three years and must not be on a leave of absence when the early-graduation decision is made. At that time, the student's post-graduation path must be settled as either admission to Tokyo Denki University's Graduate School of Science and Engineering or employment as a regular public employee. Early graduation is not permitted for students who entered the university by transfer into the third year.
