Repayment of the Support Scholarship During a Leave of Absence

If your support scholarship eligibility is suspended because you take a leave of absence, the university may require repayment of support scholarship funds already loaned.

When repayment may be required

For the academic years and faculties covered here, taking a leave of absence or having your scholarship eligibility suspended because of a leave of absence may result in repayment being required for support scholarship funds already loaned. The supported cases are: academic year 2025, Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division); academic year 2025, Saitama Hatoyama Campus, School of Science and Technology; academic year 2026, Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division), Faculty of Future Science, and Faculty of Systems Design and Technology; and academic year 2026, Saitama Hatoyama Campus, School of Science and Technology.
