Student Support Scholarship Eligibility

The Student Support Scholarship is intended for enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate good character and academic performance and meet at least one qualifying self-development condition.

Enrollment, character, and academic requirements

The scholarship is available to students enrolled in Tokyo Denki University’s graduate school or an undergraduate faculty. Applicants must have excellent character and good academic results. They must also meet at least one of the specified conditions related to self-development or other qualifying circumstances. These requirements are stated for the 2025 and 2026 academic years across the faculties and campuses listed in the scope notes.

Qualifying self-development activities

Students may be considered for the scholarship if they purchase educational equipment or similar items for the purpose of improving their own abilities. Another qualifying condition is being recognized as motivated to achieve personal development. Participation in a university-organized short-term overseas language training program is also listed as a qualifying condition.
