How to Take Science and Technology Overview Online

Science and Technology Overview is an on-demand course delivered online. This page explains when and where you can study and how the course is delivered.

When and where you can study

For the 2025 and 2026 academic years in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, Science and Technology Overview can be taken from home or another location at any time during the course-registration period, using a PC or similar device with an internet connection. In the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology can take the course from home or elsewhere at any time during the course-taking period with a PC or similar device and internet access. Students in the Faculty of Future Science in 2026 can also take it from home or another location at any time during the course-taking period using a PC or similar device and an internet connection.

On-demand course format

Science and Technology Overview is offered in an on-demand format. The course uses video-delivered lectures through WebClass and similar systems, along with advanced or diverse multimedia. Details of the lecture content are provided in the syllabus.
