Where to ask about student insurance

The Student Support Center (Student Welfare Services) handles inquiries about the insurance policy described in the 2025 information for the Systems Design and Technology Faculty, as well as Gakkenbai insurance inquiries for the 2025 Second Division of the Engineering Faculty. It is also the Gakkenbai contact desk for the 2026 Engineering Faculty and the 2026 Second Division of the Engineering Faculty.

Coverage and dangerous research experiments

For the 2026 Engineering Faculty, 2026 Second Division of the Engineering Faculty, and 2026 Future Science Faculty information, surgery benefits are not paid. Separate insurance is recommended when graduation research or another activity involves dangerous experiments. For the 2026 Systems Design and Technology Faculty, students are also advised to obtain separate insurance for dangerous experiments in graduation research or similar activities. The Student Support Center (Student Welfare Services) is the consultation desk when the applicable insurance coverage is unclear.
