What to Do After a Theft

Learn where to report a theft and where to check whether your stolen property has been found.

Report the theft promptly

If you have been the victim of theft, promptly contact the Student Support Center (Student Welfare). If the stolen property includes valuables such as cash or cards, immediately report the incident to a police box and to the relevant bank or cashless payment provider.

Check whether the property has been found

Stolen property, or part of it, may be turned in as found property. Check with the Student Support Center (Student Welfare) to see whether it has been delivered there.
