Leave of Absence: Available Durations

A leave of absence may generally be taken for one semester, or six months. An application covering the full academic year may also be submitted during the first-semester application period.

How long a leave of absence may last

In the covered programmes, a leave of absence is taken one semester at a time, with each semester lasting six months. Only during the application period for the first semester, you may also apply for a full-year leave covering both the first and second semesters.
