Required and Elective Subjects in the Curriculum
This page explains which foundation subjects are required in the Robotics and Mechatronics program and how to identify required and elective subjects in the curriculum chart.
First-year foundation subjects
For the first year, subjects that build the knowledge and technical skills shared by the specialist fields are designated as required subjects. This applies to the Robotics and Mechatronics program in both the 2025 and 2026 academic years.
Required and elective subjects by foundation field
The four foundation fields are mechanical, electrical, information, and control. In each field, one subject is designated as a required subject, while four to six subjects are assigned as electives. This structure is stated for the 2025 and 2026 academic years.
How to identify required subjects in the curriculum chart
In the 2026 curriculum chart, shaded areas indicate required subjects. A number in parentheses after the credit value indicates a free-choice subject. In the curriculum diagram, a circle before a subject name also indicates that the subject is required.
