How to Enroll in the Teacher-Training Course

This page explains the required guidance session, fee payment, forms, surveys, and course registration for the teacher-training course at each applicable campus and academic-year level.

Tokyo Senju Campus: Starting the Teacher-Training Course

For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Future Science, and for the 2026 academic year in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering, students who wish to take the teacher-training course must attend the teacher-training-course guidance held in April of the first year. The guidance explains the overall schedule and the requirements for obtaining a teaching license. Students beginning the course for the first time in their second year or later must also attend the guidance. After attending, pay the teacher-training-course enrollment fee and submit the teacher-training-course enrollment form. Paying the fee after the guidance allows you to begin the teacher-training course. For the applicable first-year April procedures, also respond to the survey about the teaching license you wish to obtain, register the teacher-training subjects, and enter Teacher-Training Record 6. The teacher-training-course guide is distributed to students who attend the guidance.

Courses Requiring the Enrollment Procedure and Fee

For the 2026 academic year in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, taking the courses listed in the relevant table requires completion of the teacher-training-course enrollment procedure, including payment of the teacher-training-course enrollment fee. This requirement does not apply to courses identified as humanities science courses.

Saitama Hatoyama Campus: Course Registration Timing

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, teacher-training-course registration must be completed during the designated registration period. The registration method is the same as for other courses.
