Subject-Specific Credits Required for a Teaching Licence
For the 2025 teaching-licence curriculum at Tokyo Senju Campus, shaded subject-specific courses are mandatory, and at least 30 credits must be earned from the designated courses.
Shaded courses are mandatory
To obtain a teaching licence, you must complete the shaded courses listed under subject-specific courses. This requirement is separate from the course classification used for progression and graduation requirements. A course may therefore be required for the teaching licence even if its graduation-requirement classification is different.
Minimum subject-specific credit total
You must earn at least 30 credits in total from the courses listed in the subject-specific courses table, including all of the shaded courses. This 30-credit requirement applies to the teaching-licence courses covered by the relevant table.
