GPA uses by academic year and faculty

For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus, GPA is used when making decisions about early graduation, permission to register for courses beyond the course-registration limit, internal advancement to graduate school, and similar matters. For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus, GPA is used for decisions about early graduation, permission to register for credits beyond the course-registration limit, internal admission to graduate school, and other decisions. For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, GPA is used for faculty-level decisions, including graduation after three or more years of enrollment, permission to take courses beyond the registration limit, academic guidance, and other purposes.

Faculty of Systems Design and Technology

In the 2026 academic year, GPA is used in the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus for decisions about early graduation, permission to register for courses beyond the enrollment limit, internal advancement to graduate school, and other matters.

Three-year graduation decisions at Saitama Hatoyama Campus

In the 2025 academic year, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus uses GPA for faculty-level decisions, including graduation after three or more years of enrollment, permission to take courses beyond the registration limit, academic guidance, and other purposes.
