Name Characters on Student ID Cards

Student ID card names are limited to characters within the JIS Level 2 range. The applicable scope differs by academic year and faculty.

2025: Faculty of Engineering, Division II

For students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, during the 2025 academic year, the characters used for the name on the student ID card are limited to the range through JIS Level 2.

2026: School of Science and Technology for Future Life

For students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the School of Science and Technology for Future Life during the 2026 academic year, the characters used for the name on the student ID card are limited to the range through JIS Level 2.
