When You Need Your Student ID Card

Your student ID card is required for campus entry in the stated faculties and academic years, and for several campus services.

Campus entry

For the 2025 academic year, students in the School of Future Science and students in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering cannot enter the Tokyo Senju Campus if they have forgotten their student ID card. The same rule applies to students in the School of Future Science in the 2026 academic year.

Classes and campus services

For students in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering during the 2025 academic year, the student ID card is needed to pass through the security gates at the Tokyo Senju Campus, attend classes, obtain various certificates, borrow books from the library, and confirm safety during a large-scale disaster.
