Recognition of Specialized Subjects for Transfer Credit

How specialized subjects are recognized

For students entering by transfer in the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus, specialized education subjects are recognized by matching them with corresponding subjects. If no corresponding subject can be identified, the department receiving the student may grant blanket recognition. For transfers from the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering to one of the three faculties, in the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, specialized education subjects are recognized by subject matching and credited according to the number of credits assigned by the receiving department. Recognition applies regardless of the subject's designated year of study.
