Footwear Prohibited Inside Buildings

Geta, spikes, and similar footwear must not be used inside buildings under the applicable facility-use rules.

Tokyo Senju Campus: Faculty of Engineering

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering must not use geta, spikes, or similar footwear inside buildings.

Tokyo Senju Campus: System Design and Technology

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division must not wear geta, spikes, or similar footwear inside buildings.

Future Science and Science and Technology Faculties

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Faculty of Future Science must not use geta, spikes, or similar footwear inside buildings. For the 2025 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, the same restriction applies to students in the Faculty of Science and Technology.
