How Relief Scholarship Recipients Are Selected and Appointed

Relief scholarship candidates are selected by the relevant selection committee, and the president makes the final appointment decision. The applicable process depends on the academic year, campus, and faculty.

2025: Tokyo Senju Campus

For students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, and the Faculty of System Design, the Relief Scholarship Student Selection Committee conducts the selection. Based on that selection, the president decides whether to appoint the relief scholarship student.

2025: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Future Science

The Relief Scholarship Student Selection Committee conducts the selection, and the president decides who will be appointed as a relief scholarship student.

2025: Saitama Hatoyama Campus

For students in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the president decides whether to appoint a relief scholarship recipient based on the selection conducted by the Relief Scholarship Selection Committee.

2026: Tokyo Senju Campus

For students in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Future Science, the Relief Scholarship Student Selection Committee selects the candidates, and the president makes the decision on appointment.
