Reasons for Losing Emergency Scholarship Eligibility

For the 2026 academic year, this page explains circumstances that may cause a student to lose eligibility for the Tokyo Denki University Student Emergency Scholarship.

Saitama Hatoyama Campus: School of Science and Technology

For students in the School of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, scholarship eligibility may be lost if the student is considered unsuitable as a scholarship recipient under any applicable item of Article 5, Paragraph 1. Specific reasons include receiving disciplinary action under the university regulations, such as withdrawal or expulsion, suspension, or reprimand; submitting false information in application or other documents; and having poor academic performance or misconduct.

Tokyo Senju Campus: School of Engineering

For students in the School of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, scholarship eligibility is lost if the student is considered unsuitable as a scholarship recipient because they receive disciplinary action under the university regulations, such as withdrawal or expulsion, suspension, or reprimand. Eligibility is also lost when the student submits false information in application or other documents.
