How the Student Emergency Scholarship Is Assessed and Awarded

The Student Emergency Scholarship does not have regular recruitment. Eligible students are assessed based on their financial circumstances and related factors, and recipients are appointed through a selection committee and the university president.

Assessment when there is no regular recruitment

The Tokyo Denki University Student Emergency Scholarship does not conduct regular recruitment. For students whose household finances have changed within the past year and who have difficulty paying tuition, the university makes a comprehensive assessment. Factors include the status of loans from other scholarships, the circumstances of the household financial change, and whether tuition payment has been deferred. Students considered suitable for the purpose of the emergency scholarship are selected.

Selection and appointment of recipients

Recipients are selected through the Emergency Relief Scholarship Selection Committee. The university president makes the decision and appoints the recipients.
