The Alumni Association Scholarship is interest-free. This page explains the repayment period, repayment start date, repayment method, and applicable loan amount by academic scope.

Repayment period, interest, and loan amount

The Alumni Association Scholarship is repaid without interest over five years after graduation for the academic scopes covered here. For the scholarship descriptions covering the 2025 and 2026 academic years at Saitama Campus and the specified Tokyo Senju Campus faculties, the loan amount is equivalent to the tuition and other fees payable in one installment.

When repayment starts and how it is made

For the specified 2025 and 2026 academic-year scopes at Saitama Campus and Tokyo Senju Campus, repayment starts six months after graduation. Repayment is made in equal principal payments over five years. A lump-sum repayment is also possible, and no interest is charged.
