Returning Borrowed Library Materials

Find the rules for returning borrowed materials by the due date, returning them at another campus, and returning them when your student status changes.

Due dates and cross-campus returns

Return borrowed materials by the specified due date. Materials may be returned at any campus in the scopes covered here. The due date can be checked on the website. For 2026 students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division and the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus, and for 2025 students in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, these rules apply. For 2026 students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, borrowed materials must be returned by the specified due date and may be returned at any campus; the due date can be checked on the website.

Returning materials when leaving the university

If you graduate, withdraw, are expelled, transfer, or undergo a similar change in student status, return all materials you have borrowed immediately. This requirement is stated for 2025 students in the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus and the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, and for 2026 students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division and the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus.
