Graduation Timing and First-Semester-End Graduation
The graduation timing rules differ by campus and faculty. This page explains what happens when a first-semester-end graduation application is not submitted and when a student's graduation preference cannot be confirmed.
Saitama Hatoyama Campus: No Application for First-Semester-End Graduation
For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, if you do not submit an application for first-semester-end graduation, your graduation will be scheduled for the end of the academic year, even if you have already met the graduation requirements. You must also meet the graduation requirements at the end of the academic year.
Tokyo Senju Campus: Preference Not Confirmed
For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, at Tokyo Senju Campus, an eligible student graduates in September if the student confirms a preference for first-semester-end graduation. The student also graduates in September if the preference cannot be confirmed because the student cannot be contacted.
