What Happens When Graduation Requirements Are Not Met

Students who do not meet the graduation requirements may have their graduation deferred and repeat the fourth year. This page explains the next steps for completing the requirements.

If You Do Not Meet the Graduation Requirements

At the graduation determination, a student who does not meet the graduation requirements has their graduation deferred and repeats the fourth year. This rule is supported for students in the Faculty of Future Science in the 2025 academic year and the Faculty of Engineering in the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus.

How to Complete the Requirements After Graduation Is Deferred

After graduation is deferred, register for courses that you have not yet earned and work toward meeting the graduation conditions. This applies to the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, and the Faculty of Future Science in the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus.
