How Degrees Are Awarded After Graduation

This page explains the basis for degree conferral for graduate school completers and university graduates, including the graduation requirement for a Bachelor of Engineering.

Degree Conferral Under the University Regulations

For students who complete the master's program or the latter stage of the doctoral program, the degree is awarded in accordance with Article 23, paragraph 1 of the University Graduate School Regulations. For university graduates, the degree is awarded in accordance with Article 32, paragraph 1 of the University Regulations.

Degree Awarded After Meeting Graduation Requirements

For the Faculty of Engineering, a student who satisfies the graduation requirements and is approved in the graduation determination graduates and is awarded the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.
