Courses with Proficiency-Based Class Placement

For the 2026 academic year, proficiency-based classes are used for first-year mathematics courses and for English courses in the first- and second-year core subject group.

Mathematics and English Courses

In first-year mathematics courses, students are placed in classes according to proficiency so that they can study at a level suited to their understanding. For English courses, proficiency-based classes are organized within the first- and second-year core subject group.
