Course Codes and Restrictions on Taking Courses from Other Courses
This page explains how courses without a course code are classified and when you cannot take a same-name course from another course.
Courses without a course code
For course-specialty subjects, any subject without a course code is treated as a course-specialty subject of your main course.
Restriction on same-name courses
If you take a course marked “*1,” you cannot take a course with the same name from another course.
