How Free-Choice Courses from Other Faculties or Departments Are Counted
Free-choice courses taken outside your own faculty or department are counted within the relevant free-choice category of your curriculum, subject to the applicable academic year and faculty scope.
2025 Systems Design and Technology Faculty
For students at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Systems Design and Technology Faculty in academic year 2025, a free-choice course completed through study in another faculty or department is treated as a free-choice course in the relevant category of the student’s own curriculum.
2026 Engineering Faculty
In academic year 2026, for students outside the EJ department in the Engineering Faculty, a free-choice course earned through registration in another faculty or department is treated as a free-choice course in the corresponding category to which the student belongs.
