Credit Substitution Limit for Subject-Specialty Courses

For the 2025 academic year at the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, up to 5 of the required 30 credits may be replaced with credits from independently established courses.

How many credits can be substituted?

Of the required 30 credits, up to 5 credits may be replaced by credits earned from independently established courses. If you use this substitution, you need to earn the 30-credit total minus the substituted credits in subject-specialty courses. For example, if you earn 5 credits from independently established courses, you need at least 25 credits in subject-specialty courses.
