Category-Specific Graduation Credit Requirements

Learn where to find the graduation credits required for each category and the requirements for international students in specified Engineering departments.

Where to find the required credits

For general-education courses designated as one-choice required courses, consult your department's course-allocation table and the table titled "Required Graduation Credits by Category." For Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EJ), use section 7-2, "Category-Specific Graduation-Required Credits (2) Electrical and Electronic Engineering." Do not use the requirements listed for EH, ES, EK, EF, or EC in that table for EJ.

Requirements for international students in specified departments

For international students in EH, ES, EK, EF, or EC, the required credits are: Human Science Subjects, 16 credits; English Subjects, 8 credits; Engineering Foundation Subjects, 18 credits; Specialized Subjects, 78 credits; Freely Selected Completed Subjects, 4 credits. The total required is 124 credits.
