Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Student Support

Selection may consider institutional consultation or a student's financial and support circumstances, depending on the academic year and faculty.

Selection through institutional consultation

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology may be selected when the Director of the Student Support Center consults with the relevant graduate school committee chair or dean and determines that support is necessary. The same consultation-based criterion applies to students in the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering.

Selection based on individual circumstances

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, selection for the Emergency Scholarship in the Faculty of Future Science considers a student's overall circumstances. These include the status of loans from other scholarships, sudden changes in household finances, and delayed tuition payment. Students who are considered appropriate for the purpose of the Emergency Scholarship are selected.
