Taking Courses in Another Department for an Additional Teaching License

For the 2026 academic year, students at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Systems Design and Technology must earn certain credits for an additional-subject teaching license through courses offered by another faculty or department.

Courses Required for an Additional-Subject Teaching License

Credits required for a teaching license in an additional subject must be earned by taking courses from another faculty or department through cross-faculty or cross-department enrollment. The courses must be included in the approved teacher-certification curriculum of a faculty or department that offers certification in the subject you want to teach.
