When You Must Retake a Required Course

Required courses must be retaken if you fail them or do not earn their credits. The timing of the retake depends on your programme and campus.

School of Future Science, Robotics and Mechatronics

For students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, if you fail a required course in the academic year in which it is scheduled, you must retake it in the following academic year. This rule is supported for academic years 2025 and 2026.

School of Science and Technology

For students at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology in academic year 2025, if you do not earn the credits for a required course, you must retake the course.
