Course Registration Restrictions for Retaking Courses

These rules explain limits on duplicate enrollment and timetable conflicts when retaking courses in 2026.

Only One Enrollment in the Same Course

At Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology in 2026, you may enroll in only one offering of the same course, even when the course is offered multiple times. Duplicate enrollment is not permitted even if the instructors or academic units offering the course are different.

Retaking a Required Course and Timetable Conflicts

At Tokyo Senju Campus in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, in 2026, if you retake a required course in the following academic year, you cannot take a course for your enrolled academic year if it is offered during the same class period.
